Tatted Up Tommy

Below is my first assignment in the DDSGN 220 class. The assignment was to use brushes or designs created in a Photoshop design then animate it in After Effects.

I decided to use my cute little chunky son and transform him into a cut little chunky gangster. We did a quick photo shoot after he woke up from his nap, opened my favorite pic in Photoshop and then I applied some tattoo brushes, designs and fonts as tattoos over his body. I cropped the photo, added some layer effects, edited the photo, and added a glow brush behind him. Then I moved the file into After Effects. There I created stroke masks over the tattoos and added some movement with the camera. When I finished there I sent it all over to Premiere to add music and compress the file size.

I am pleased with the end result. My family loved it and my Father-In-Law even called with concern of his grandchild's safety . . . success.
